GET STARTED WITH DATA FEEDS

Data feeds provide the information necessary to display content in your ads. They are the fastest, easiest way to mass-upload product information to your advertisers and campaigns, without the need for re-uploads or version control. Sticking to the following guidelines and specifications will ensure your products and ads are displayed correctly.

Choosing Your Upload Method

The first step in uploading your data feed is selecting which method to use. Your advertiser’s industry (‘vertical’) and campaign requirements will help determine this.

  • HTTP/FTP Upload – If the products you wish to list are only for a specific campaign, this is the way to go. All you need is a formatted CSV file, and a way for us to access it (it’s easier than it sounds).
  • Pixel – If the products you wish to list are for all the campaigns under a given advertiser, this is the way to go. Just bear in mind you will need to access (and alter) the actual code of the advertiser’s website.

  • HTTP/FTP Upload – For automotive industry campaigns, this is the way to go. All you need is a formatted CSV file, and a way for us to access it (don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds).

Hot tip!
“Data Feeds” is just a fancy way of saying “getting product info from you to us.” Instead of having to create, upload, or send a brand new file every time there’s a new sale price or updated product photo, you simply have to update the existing file. Our system will then retrieve that info and update the ads connected with that feed. It all happens in real-time, so you know that your audience is always seeing the correct content!

Upload Your Data
